Hi, we are Jason and Angela. We live near Burnham on the outskirts of south Christchurch in New Zealand. At the moment we have four Leonbergers named Ollie, River, Kayla and Luke, an English Setter named Rocky and two cats Spiderman and Toffee pop as well as our wee boy Devin who was born in August 2008. Ollie was our first Leonberger, Jason was really keen to get one of these giant dogs and take part at the dog shows with me, at that stage I was quite happy with my English Setters until Ollie arrived. Not long had he been part of our family when his fantastic nature and loyal attitude won my heart. Dying to get a Leonberger of my own we were back in touch with Verna at Simtara Leonbergers in the North Island and now we co-own River with Verna. River is a beautiful girl who just loves cuddles. The Leo addiction continued and we now have Kayla who is also bred by Verna, and from our first litter in December 09 we kept a boy who we named Luke.
